The Orientation Retreat is a mandatory requirement of participation in the Schweitzer Fellowship Program. The retreat is held at a lovely beach house loaned to us by very generous donors, The retreat begins on Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday afternoon, Fellows are required to be there for the entire weekend .

The Celebration of Service is an annual event in May to honor the Fellows who have completed their Fellowship year and to introduce the new cohort of Fellows who began their Fellowship year in April. In 2019 the Celebration of Service will be held on Friday May 17 at the historic, Julia Morgan designed Berkeley City Club. Dinner will be served and reservations are required.
